Talks

From Wednesday to Friday there will be 6 talks each day from 0900h to 1230h with a intermediate coffee breaks at 1030h. Talks should last between 15 to 20 minutes from which 5 minutes should be spent on setting the own research area within a context of QSIT. The remaining 5 minutes are reserved for questions and discussions.

When preparing your talk please keep in mind that the QSIT members have different backgrounds as they come from different departments and institutes of ETH and other institutions (theoretical physics, experimental physics, theoretical computer science, quantum information theory, ...).

Please prepare your talk according to the following guidelines:

Abstract

The 2-page abstract should include a introductory section with a brief overview of the topic. The technical parts should be reduced to a minimum (rather refer to scientific papers).

Poster sessions & discussions

People not giving a talk are strongly encouraged to prepare a poster (max. 3 persons per poster) for the poster sessions and discussions which are scheduled in the early afternoon.
